COVID Update January 2021 - Fair is cancelled
As you all know, our 2020 Fair, along with countless others, was cancelled due to COVID-19. We had hoped that we would be able to hold the Fair in November but sadly the Committee has made the decision to cancel the Fair for 2021.
At the time of writing we are in a third lockdown, and infections are increasing, we would not like to accept applications and be organising the Fair only to be cancelling later on in the year, this is disruptive to us and more importantly to our venue, Aldwick Estate, which had to cancel/postpone a huge number of events, over the last year. If we have new restrictions and a new variant next Autumn/Winter, it would prove very difficult to hold the Fair in our usual very busy way.
We hope that we may be able to hold the Fair in 2022 but we will keep this under review.
